About William

William Prince is a Contemporary Jazz Saxophonist, with a soulful sound and approach. He’s been fortunate to perform with artists such as: Walter Beasley, Phil Perry, Chris “Big Dog” Davis, Gerald Veasley, Jeff Bradshaw, Doobie Powell, & Carol Albert. William has released several singles under his name, with his previous national releases being “Sumthin’ Sumthin’ “(Maxwell classic) in 2017, “Mainstream” (produced by Judah Sealy) in 2021 and “Roll On” (Produced by Adam Hawley) in 2022. In 2023, William released "Sunny Days" that reached #1 on the Urban Influencer Smooth Jazz Chart.  In 2024, William released two popular covers “We Are One” and “For the love of You”, featuring Jonathan DuBose Jr.  William returns to the contemporary jazz world in 2026 with his latest original, “Oceanview”.  You can follow William @PrinceOnSax on Instagram, Facebook, and X.

Saxophonist William Prince returns to the Contemporary Jazz airwaves with a new groove, "Oceanview" for the spring/summer of 2026. William teamed up with Producer, Tye Brown (T-AARONmusic), phenom bassist, David Dyson, Guitar extraordinaire, Jonathan DuBose Jr., Drummer Cam Fletcher and the legendary Walter Beasley to create this smooth groove. 2-time Grammy winner, Paul Brown works his magic with a punchy mix, and Steve Hall makes it all shine with his mastering work.
